Steal My AI Storytelling prompt that helps & I posted less this week by design.

Hi there,

I’ve been here before.
I’ve built a business before. Then pivoted.
Then pivoted again. And again.
Probably around five times in total, for 12+ years
within the same business.

→ Before I lost it overnight (2020)
→ Pivoted from dancer to digital marketer (2021)
→ Retrained from scratch (2021)
→ Interned for free (2022)
→ Landed a remote-first role (2023)

And now in 2025? Here we go again.
Pivoting from remote employee, to unemployed, to remote business owner.
And it all starts with developing a content habit.

Some people thrive in growth mode.
But for me, it’s about maintaining momentum through pivots.

Learn and grow as I go.
That’s why content feels like the perfect fit.
Why social media with its ever-changing “rules” feel (mostly) like a game, even when it’s hard.

This 500 posts in 30 days challenge I’m doing?
It’s not just about proving I can do this.
It’s about proving to myself I can show up every day.
Embody my new craft.
And earn my place.

And this week? It tested me.
Not just professionally, I’ve been juggling real life, too.
Things that don’t fit neatly into content calendars or AI prompts.

But when I feel like taking the day off
aka falling back into procrastination mode
I take a deep breath and remind myself:

Building a business isn’t just about pivots or what you know.
It’s about who you become during the process.
And that’s the gift you take with you no matter how hard it gets.

Week 3 Results 500 Posts in 30 Days!

This is the last weekly round-up you’ll see.

Next time I share numbers, it’ll be the entire challenge recap.

And honestly? That feels really good 😊

Here’s how the numbers look:

Week 1: 116 Posts 1st-6th July
Week 2: 132 Posts 7th-13th July
Week 3: 97 Posts 14th-20th July

Total: 345 Posts 🎉
Just 155 to go… 😂
or 15-16 a day!

I posted slightly less this week not because of content burnout, but by design.

I’ve been behind the scenes, building systems to make this challenge somewhat sustainable not just as a newbie creator, but as a business owner.

Because if this challenge is going to turn into a long-term business plan?
I need the content machine to run smoothly behind the scenes.

Here’s the platform tea:

LinkedIn: Impressions dropped from 3,384 → 2,812 week over week, but new followers stayed stable. Most important? I got one DM about my services and I don’t even talk about them directly. I just trust the process.

TikTok: Posted 10 videos this week. Talking to camera is getting easier (finally 🙌)
And while views dropped a little, I gained 16 new followers about the same as last week. Consistency & Frequency > Virality (always)

Instagram: This is all about cleaning up my positioning.
I’m preparing for phase 2, the real build.

With Instagram posts now showing up in Google + Bing search (thanks to July’s update). I want every post to work harder and go beyond the feed.
Exciting times! Grateful people are still sticking around 💛 (I know it’s a mess!!)

Threads: 350M users and counting. This platform is becoming my playground. It’s easy, fun, and I’ve already started differentiating my two brands (PTNC and Nicola Gwillym) here first.

Bluesky & X: Sill posting… for now. But honestly? These two are on the back burner and I’ll likely drop them after the challenge.

Any questions? Reply and let’s chat!

Storytelling Prompt

I made this prompt for when I’m stuck! Try next time you’re staring at the blank page I love this one for LinkedIn, but you could make it fit on any platform or format:

(Just insert your answers into the brackets below)

I want you to help me write a story-driven social media post using a 6-step storytelling structure.

Keep it short and punchy, the hook and rehook should be 8-10 words max.

Here’s what I want to talk about:

Insert your story idea here: (e.g. I finally launched my course after procrastinating for 6 months or I quit my job to become a freelance designer)

Please use this structure: (answer these questions, I voice note mine in)

The Spark: What triggered this moment or story?
What did I used to believe or feel?

The Struggle: What challenges or resistance did I face along the way?

The Shift: What turning point or realisation changed everything?

The Result: What happened after that shift?
Include any real results, even if small.

The Meaning: What did this teach me?
How did I grow from it?

The Offer or CTA: Share what I’ve created (if relevant) or invite the audience into the conversation.

Style: Friendly, authentic, and human. Write it as if I’m talking to a friend, but keep it clear and structured.

(Give it your tone of voice guide if you have one, if not feed it 3-5 of your posts and ask it notice how you write and sound)

My niche & target audience: (add yours)

e.g. personal brand strategy, fitness coaching, product design, AI tools, etc. Founders, peers, decision makers

Yes, it’ll still sound like AI at first.
But it’ll get you over the blank page and into flow.
Edit it, make it yours, save it for later.
Add a selfie or a behind-the-scenes shot.
Or make it into a talking video!
Post it! Let me know if you try it!

Ok, that’s all for today!
I’m working on step one of my Instagram Glow up this week.
Incoming AI workflow for IG next week!

Until then, see you on socials

Stay Remotely Social 💅,

Nikki 😉
