From Full-Time to Freedom. Day 1

I quit. Let’s see what figuring this out in public actually takes.

Hey there 👋,

Big Life Update!

It’s been a few weeks. I didn’t plan on going quiet, but sometimes you need to hit pause to gain clarity.

The truth is… I quit my job.

When I say quit I mean I graciously handed in my notice and finished what I started.

That voice in my head saying ‘your life depends on this’ got too loud to ignore, that feeling of being boxed in just kept growing.

So I made a decision, I left and set myself free into the internet wild.

What would happen if I pour all of my energy into what I love doing; experimenting, being creative, building systems, showing up and sharing as I go.

I want to test, tweak, and truly understand how social funnels work when you show up consistently, without the corporate constraints.

I’ll be sharing all the good stuff with you. The flops, the wins, the AI workflows, and what it really takes to grow across platforms and this newsletter in real time.

I’m also open to work, either clients, or the right remote job fit, if you hear of anything that could be a match, feel free to send it my way :)

Ok, lets jump in to good stuff…

AI Workflow of the Week

This week is more of a ‘oh look what I missed while playing corporate’ kinda discovery.

Back in March OpenAI launched it’s AI Academy, meaning we finally find out from the source how they recommend us to prompt and use their tool.

A sample of OpenAI’s AI at Work Course

I dove straight into Advanced Prompt Engineering and these are the foundations of a strong AI prompt:

Screenshot from the course

I’m always thinking ‘am I doing this right’, but results speak for themselves and it’s been liberating to just play around and get it to the point of good usable results that actually help without following instructions.

They run through 5 key areas, like adopting personas, delimiters, step-by-step instructions, one shot/few shot learning and ask ChatGPT. The videos are short and useful.

Full transparency I’ve never heard of delimiters, turns out to get our bestie bot really likes them!

They state ‘triple quotes (or similar) to create logical breaks’. Think things like """, ---, <<>>, or even [[ ]]

The point of these is so our bot-buddy doesn’t get input text mixed up with instructions.

Ok then, let’s have a look 👀

I ran a side-by-side test.

Prompt Test

Prompt A (no delimiter) Prompt B (delimiter & asked ChatGPT to create it, to spice it up)

Prompt A & output:

Ignore my travel-spicy brain typo there plz n thx.
ETA is supposed to read CTE
(my sign to book that flight)

Prompt B & output:

Asked ChatGPT Results

Prompt B output is far better, with editing and the right engagement tactics this would most definitely work better on LinkedIn than output A.

Give it try and let me know what you think.

A quick note about emojis on LinkedIn, yes, but in moderation, too many and the sentiment is'; ‘that’s AI’ or ‘it’s unreadable’.

Quick Reminder

In just 2 weeks time The Nomad World Fest will take place in Portugal.

I love nomad conferences because you get to meet so many interesting people, living alternative lifestyles.

It’s fun and this one is kicking off with a sunset boat tour!
(please let there by Dolphins 🐬🤞)

I’m going to do my brand new signature workshop on AI in Social Media.
